Loved what they did for uncle Albin. And the show your son put on whilst barbecuing (sp.chk), and the story of living with an ambitous hubby who spends much of his time away from home. PS Thanks for your comments..made my day to be complimented by someone who really knows how to write.

Shala the pimple:-) When I was 11, I was bent over a table talking to a classmate, and someone else uttered the unforgettable: "That's the biggest arse I have ever seen". My bum isn't big at all, when I look at it with logic, but those words are forever embedded and so it is seldom on show.

That stair thing rings a bell, liked the way you described it.
As you say, the fire didn't destroy the important things, but I can imagine the immense sense of loss that you must of felt at losing all your possessions. I have no baby pictures of my daughter (long story), and even though I have what is important, her and the memories, it still brings sadness to think of them.
I'm mentioning the posts that particularly touched me, mainly because I can relate on some level, often obscure...there's a lot to get through, but it is well worth the tired eyes :-)

Munkay-At first I was thinking you must be drinking on of your chocolate "shakes" when writting that. Then I watched a little late-night and remembered your name. Brilliant! Gym

Story of your twins was deeply moving.
Story of why you were given pearls made me miss being in a relationship...time to find me a man, I think.
Story of the adonis at the Tae Kwon-do club resulting in the traffic queue, made me giggle. You have a way with words when it comes to humour...very evocative, can picure the scenes in my mind.
